This is the first video post in metal-music-videos.com. Because we will kill thelastdawn.blogspot.com and continue with metal-music-videos.com, the first almost 100 posts in this blog will be the same as in thelastdawn.blogspot.com. We do this because we enjoy all those songs and want to promote them in this new blog as well. Check out my first post of how we started.

So, here Amorphis, a Finnish progressive metal band, plays Perkele (The God Of Fire) live in Provinssirock festival (located in Finland). The footage is from 2006. Pasi Koskinen, previous Amorphis singer, left the band a couple of years ago. In this video Amorphis plays with the new singer, Tomi Joutsen.

Amoprhis started by playing brutal black metal with some trash and doom influences, but during the years they moved to progressive metal. Amorphis is one of the shining stars in Finnish metal music scene which became known from their album Elegy.
