I must say In Flames is a band that has been the most impressive crew lately. Swedish metal scene is rising, there are many good bands in our neighbouring country today. In Flames plays melodic death metal and I keep on banging my head. The band was founded 1990 when Jesper Strömblad wanted to create new kind of music. Their first album “Lunar Strain” became a underground success. Their world-wide succes began with the album The Jester Race.

In Flames has played with big names such as Dream Theater, Linkin Park, Soulfly, Slayer and Testament. This has helped the band to get great attention. Now the latest album “Come Clarity” has sold well in Scandinavia and North-America.
