I don’t know why, but there are so fu*$%&#@ good metal bands here in northern countries. Wintersun from Finland is great example. It is founded by the ex-singer/guitarist of Ensiferum, Jari Mäenpää, and it plays progressive/melodic death metal music. Their debut album is “Wintersun”, released in 2004. The video below is their “Beyond The Dark Sun”. The band has been recording their new album “Time” for months, but they have not been able to release it due to various problems. I wish they will be able to release it this year. At least I would be very keen on getting that album. Just listen to the first guitar notes and the drums of the video below to figure out why I am so much interested in this band.
