Nightwish is a band of Tuomas Holopainen (keyboards) and he fired Tarja sith support from other guys in the band. I recommend you to read the book of Nightwish to know the details, but shortly said the band did not like how Tarja changed during the time and therefore they fired her. Notice that the band claims Tarja changed, not me. This is just what I have read and heard. So, you have heard the same rumors and part of those rumors might be true.
