Scott asked “what would you do if you lost your hearing”. It’s a good question. I think I would live with it, but becoming blind would definitely be my nightmare. Anyhow, loosing my hearing would be frustrating because I would not be able to enjoy music anymore. Life would become pretty quiet. Sounds scary, but..

WHAT would you do if you lost your HAIR?! Imagine, one morning you wake up and notice that your more than half a meter long hair is gone. No more headbanging in Amon Amarth way! No more outfit like guys of Norther! No more long black hair like Ville Laihiala from Poisonblack! No more playing classical music with your hair sliding between guitar strings!

How would it be? How would you feel? Depressed?

Well, I’m not sure. Let see what life be without a long hair. You would still bang your head, just like Björn Strid of Soilwork. You would bang your head just like Howard Jones of KSE. May be your life would be easier? May be you would be satisfied with the fact that you don’t need to brush your hair every now and then, you don’t need to use various chemicals to keep it in good shape and you don’t need to drive yourself nuts when (every day) the hair brush gets stuck in your hair. May be you would enjoy your new life without a long hair, just like John Bush of Anthrax?

I have to say I have lost my temper with my hair about gazillion times. When I am in hurry, I figure out my hair is dirty and I cannot go before I have washed it. Not a problem for those who have short or no hair. If I take a shower in the morning, I need to wait half an hour until my hair is dry. Because of this I arrive late in meetings at work. Goddamn! I’ll be fired.. When I eat soup I find my hair in the soup and my mouth. Aaargh! Discusting! When I go running, skiing or riding my mountain bike, my hair gets so tangled that I need two hours to resolve it. And when I wear a baseball cap people call me Wayne Campbell of Wayne’s World. How sad..

No way. I’m not gonna cut my hair, no matter how how much easier it would be without this hair and no matter what people say. I am a metalhead and I have a long hair, that’s it. What if I lost my hair? I would hang myself.

Oh, and sorry for this break in my blogging. My hard disk crashed on Saturday and I was not able to write before today. Now it’s fixed and I am writing again..
