Megadeth played in Helsinki in Finland just few days ago. During their stay in Helsinki Dave Mustaine was interviewed by Finnish music reporter. In this 17 minutes long video Dave Mustaine praises Finland and talks about the TV series “24“, charity, Megadeth’s lineup changes, Jeff Beck, Led Zeppelin, etc. In Helsinki Megadeth played with new guitarist Chris Broderick.

It is interesting how Dave Mustaine praises Finland. As a Finn I find this flattering, but I could give Dave a list of few things that are not so well here in Finland. Anyhow, it was funny to hear how surprised Dave Mustaine was when he realized that the sun does not set in Finland in mid-summer. As you listen to Dave you feel like he has a warm heart and he is much interested in charity and taking care of other people. That’s a nice thing but it makes me thinking is Dave just heroic or is this tactic image building or has he really changed that much from Metallica times when he was nothing but egoistic and selfish.
