We finally received some snow here in Finland. I was planning to go skiing but I found myself lying on my bed. I’m sick. I’m not feeling good with my stomach. This sucks..
Anyhow, I hate when there is nothing to do. I need to write my blogs but I cannot even think clear. I take an easy topic, February’s poll results. In February we asked “Should Mosh Pits Be Banned“? The answer seems to be clear NO. 42 people out of 52 voted for “no“, which is 81% of all votes. It is clear that mosh pits should not be banned, never.
Five people out of 52 voted for “What is a Mosh Pit?”, which means 10% of those who answered do not know what a mosh pit is. For those who don’t know, I recommend reading about moshing first. Then I recommend you to check out this Beginner’s Guide to the Mosh Pit.
Four people out of 52 voted for “Yes“, which means 8% of those who answered would like to see mosh pits being banned. Mosh pits are a lot of fun but not risk free. Sometimes people get crushed in a mosh pit and unfortunately some people have even died. There are always jerks that are looking for fights instead of having fun in a mosh pit. In this sense I can understand why some people don’t like mosh pits
One person out of 52 voted for “I’m not sure..“, which means that 2% of those who answered have no opinion on this question.
Thank you for providing your answers to this question. I hope this was as interesting poll for you as it was for me. Check out our March question and please give us your opinnion for “What Do You Think of Metalcore“?
If you are interested in our monthly questions, I recommend you to check out the greatest thrash metal band of the 80’s in our January’s question.

I agree. Keep the Pits!
Without them we wouldn’t have songs like Testament’s “Inot the Pit”, “Toxic Waltz” by Exodus, or “Thrasher” by Evile. They’re an integral part of thrash metal heritage and need to be preserved.
I agree mate, good points! Thanks!
