Interesting New Issue of Soundi Music Magazine

cavalera.jpg
Yesterday I said my day previous day was a bad one. It was nothing compared to this day. Man, I behave like a 13-years old metalhead.. Well, life is life. I should not talk about my personal things in this blog.

Today I received the latest issue of Soundi, a Finnish music magazine. A quick look at this issue says that there are few nice articles to read. I cannot wait for tomorrow morning as I can grab a coffee, take my Soundi magazine and read it at work. There is an interesting article of Timo Tolkki, the genius guitar-man of Stratovarius. Timo has a bipolar disorder and he talks about his disease and music in an interview. Then there is a short story of a professor of the University of Helsinki who is researching metal music. He is located in my campus, so I feel like I need to meet him. His study is one of the first ones in metal music, so I feel like I need to ask him few questions, such as “for what reason human beings prefer certain patterns of notes instead of arbitrary notes“? Do you know the answer? Please, tell me.

As I continue reading the magazine, I see there is an interesting article of Testament. Hell yeah, I gotta read it! Then there is a nice article of In Flames, which I definitely have to read in the morning! Those guys from my neighboring country Sweden are absolutely great! Then there is an article of R.E.M. Okay, I’ll take those pages with me when I go to toilet..

Continuing the magazine.. a short article of Children of Bodom! Yes! This is great! C.O.B. is one of my favorite death metal bands. It looks like Janne Wirman has long hair again. Janne, please forget that Metallica thing and keep your long hair. An what’s best in that article.. guys look like they are having the worst hangover ever, especially Roope Latvala! One funny things is that while all the others of C.O.B. look like having a bad hangover, Alexi Laiho is having a full make-up. Don’t know what to say about that..

Hey! The best part is coming. In the end of the magazine I see an interview of Cavalera Conspiracy, the new band of Max Cavalera of Sepultura and Soulfly.. I’m going to wake up early and read this mag through. Yes! This is nice. The news stuff of Cavalera sounds like Sepultura but sharper and loaded with solos. It sounds great! Yeah, music sounds great, but the video looks like some fucking cheap Blair Witch Project copy.. It is boring.

Rock on dudes! Sometimes life is annoying, but stick to long-term goals. I feel ashamed for my behavior today but I am optimistic. There will always a better day, no matter how bad your day was today. Keep it metal!
