Mate by the sound of it you are about as heavy metal as an empty coke can.. I’ve been a maiden fan for over 15 years and if you cast your mind back to the dark old days of grunge when metal had to take aback seat to the detuned whinings of seattles dis affected youth you may recall that it was indeed the man from maiden who strode out solo and kept the torch of true heavy metal burning while the maiden you pant over released 2 turgid albims of plodding crud. So sit there in your faux retro maiden shirt and pine for the days of 88 whilst i sit here in an original bruce ‘chemical wedding’ shirt and thank god that this mans solo career and its success allowed him and adrian to breathe life back into the old beast when they returned for brave new world etc… This anthology is for the real fans, real fans of bruce and his solo success…get Iron maiden early days dvd and a box of tissues if you wanna relive the past that bad!

Well, it’s my opinion, Jamie. Someone might like it, me not. Anyhow, as I said, I really enjoy Dickinson’s material with Iron Maiden. They are great! Hey, you’re welcome! Nice to see you liked my review.

hrrrm … I probably wouldn’t have picked this up anyway but, it’s kinda sad to read that it’s not all that great anyway. I freaking heart Dickinson too. I still get goosebumps listening to Maiden. Thanks for reviewing this!
