Well, C.O.B. has been well-known in metal scenes, but I think majority of Americans have never heard of them. If you ask Americans “who are GNR”, you know something like 90% will give you the right answer. If you ask “who are C.O.B”, may be 5% know them. Being 22nd on Billboard really gives them a lot more changes to reach new fans. They are well-known here in Finland, but I guess there are thousands of potential fans out in the world. They just need to reach them, and being listed on Billboard is a great advantage.

I’m seeing them tomorrow, and I agree they are gaining rather impressive numbers of fans…but is that really anything new? Seems to me, I ‘ve been seeing 14-year-old boys with Reaper sweatshirts everywhere I go for a few years now…

Have you heard the new album yet though? If yes, what did you think? I haven’t had a chance to listen, but I guess I’ll hear a few new songs tomorrow night, and see what I think.
