Loading ...I have listened to Ensiferum for some time, but today I realized how damn good band Ensiferum is. As I wrote few days ago, I am not much interested in folk metal bands such as Turisas, but Ensiferum makes an exception. Ensiferum plays many genres, such as melodic death metal, viking metal, folk metal and heavy metal. Ensiferum has just a great combination of sounds of their instruments. Listen to Into Battle video below and notice how great drumming, guitar and growls sounds. Oh man, just awesome!
Ensiferum is Finnish metal band, formed in 1996 by guitarist Markus Toivonen. Word Ensiferum comes from latin and means sword carrier. MAny of the ideas of their music come from the talented guitarist Jari Mäenpää. Unfortunately Mäenpää decided to leave the band in 2003 and formed his new band Wintersun. Well, no problem, because Wintersun is also damn good.
It is time to listen Ensiferum. Now rush to your local record shop and purchase the albums of Ensiferum!
