Rammstein became known around 1998 with their song “Du Hast”. I saw that video in television and I got kicked. Metal music sang in German was so different on those days. Today Rammstein is known worldwide and is part of the mainstream. I don’t know about you my friend, but I feel German sounds damn good in industrial metal songs. Listen to this video from Rammstein. It is a live recording of their song “Los”. Man this one really kicks some ass!

I saw Rammstein live in Helsinki around 2001 (not sure, it is already a long time ago) and it was a pretty nice gig. They used fire more than I have ever seen in gigs, which was pretty impressive. Anyhow, the funniest thing was that the keyboard player sat on a rubber boat and started “sailing” on top of people’s hands. Well, Finnish audience did not get the point well enough and this guy felt with his rubber boat. Probably because there were too few hands holding him up. Till Lindeman (singer) got worried on stage as this keyboard player dissappeard in the audience. Soon he crawled himself back to the stage. Heh.. it was actually a bit embarrasing..
