A couple of days ago I posted a video from a Finnish trash metal band, Stam1na. It is so damn good band that I am forced to post a bit more of it. I find Stam1na good because of their dynamic music which is not “fastforward overkill” as some trash metal music I have came across with. Instead it contains fast pieces as well as peaceful moments, good headbanging rhytms and interesting hooks. In addition to that they have also a very humoristic approach which makes them interesting. Heh.. that was a general opinnion
Let’s quit this jargon. Here’s “Kadonneet Kolme Sanaa” (Direct translation: Dissappeared Three Words) from Stam1na. Stam1na is one of my favourites. Check out my post of their song Paha Arkkitehti.
My previous post was Stam1na’s “Paha Arkkitehti”. This young dude plays the same song, and I gotta say he is good! Take a look, he must be 13 years old, not much older. What did I do on that age? Drunk whiskey and got myself into troubles. I was a lousy shit. I like this dude, he plays so good.
Since I discovered Anthrax a loooooong time ago, I’ve been keen on trash metal music. What makes trash metal interesting? Don’t know, may be the energy of the music.
Stam1na is a Finnish trash metal band which became known few years ago. Yes, it is “yet another great band from Finland”, just like Shape Of Despair. Stam1na brought joy and fun to the music scene with their way of performing of stage. Yeah, of course there has always been joy in the music scene, but Stam1na is a bit different band. See the video and you know what I mean.
Stam1na’s music is aggressive, sometimes even violent. On the other hand it includes piecefull melodic sounds, and this combination of two extremes makes Stam1na interesting for me.
