1990’s was difficult times for metal bands, including Tarot. Now Tarot is back to kick some ass! This is new material from Tarot and sounds gooood! Here’s the music video for “Ashes To The Stars”.

See, Tarot is not a newborn band. They played rock&roll before many of the visitors of this blog weren’t even born yet. Those were the days in glorious 1980’s.. Tarot was a big name on those days in Finland but they never made it through abroad. It’s hard to be an early bird in metal music in northern countries. Today it is much different as the music industry and metal scene have developed very much.

A while ago I posted the new videos of Nightwish. In “While You’re Lips Are Still Red” song the singer is Marco Hietala. Because Marco is a fantastic singer, I think it is good to promote his own band, Tarot. Next a couple of good pieces from Tarot.

I enjoy good singers, both in classical music and metal music. Marco Hietala from Nightwish is one of my favourite male singers. His own band Tarot was there already in 1980’s but faded away during 1990’s. Marco Hietala joined Nightwish and after that Tarot started to gain attention again.
